I bought one of these yesterday for my new SLR: http://www.crazysales.com.au/free-shipping-lexar-16gb-profes…

Thought it was a good price although only 16GB (I prefer to not have everything on one Sd card) and 60MB/s, but at least I don't have to wait for some to arrive from os.

    Very expensive cards these are.

I'd rather take this deal: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/89190

Same capacity. Yes, only half the speed but still more than you need or will realistically get from your device. And less than half the price.

Does anyone know which cameras or phones can actually read at 95MB/s in speed tests? You'd need USB3 connection for that and I think most phones and cameras don't support USB3… You would need to pull it out of the device and insert it into a USB3 card reader and then take it back out and return it to the phone. That's something I'm not prepared to do.

So, I'd stick with the 45MB/s one posted above.

If you doing long exposures etc in your SLR you will benefit alot from 95MB

      • 95mb/s is for read only. Write is nowhere near that speed.

  • 45mb/s or 90mb/s is their maximum speed, it does not mean you will get that top figure every single time. Plus 45mb for a normal everyday shooter it's not worth spending extra for the 90mb/s as 1-3 sec will not make a huge difference. If this does then spend extra.

45mb/s is all you need for the armature or hobbiest.
