Oh so close!! I am waiting for the set with Bassinet on this model please go on sale!! 🤞 Still so tempted to buy this

    • +4

Do it. The bassinet isn’t that useful for that long.

      • +1

100% agree, would just Facebook Marketplace negotiate one down to $100 or less as they would not of been used much.

Long gone are the days of the following, though do recommend checking out customer reviews:

        • When was it that cheap? Seems like it would have been worthy of a post when they had it

        • +1

Wow that's an amazing value!! Wish it would come back to this price again

Thank you just tried ebay and gumtree nothing, my wife really wants a Bassinet eventho we will only use it for 6 months. I think I will buy now don't thing it will go lower in price soon

    • +3

Go for it, I can give you my bassinet nearly unused if you are around Sydney.
Disclaimer: not 100% my bugaboo fox **** would go with this

      • +1

I don't think it will. The Dragonfly bassinet is unique because it can fold with the pram.

Thank you so much you are far too kind to offer I'm located in Melbourne however and also just researched bassinets are not interchangeable but thank you for being so kind. I found a Bassinet on ebay just checked if they would ship to Melbourne 🤞

    • I'm gonna be honest with you. I have a 3 and a 1. When we had our first, my wife was adamant at getting a pram that has bassinet attachment. We ended up not using it at all except here and there when we thought it'd be a good idea to use it since we have it. When the second one came around, we decided to just get a double pram without a bassinet.

From newborn to 6 months, you'll end up carrying them in a sling/kangaroo (ergobaby was what we've used). They don't feel comfortable laying in a bassinet especially when you're going over bumpy roads and streets because they're not close to you, they're not used to this kind of movement, and bassinet are very spacious. If you and your spouse is able, I'd recommend going with a sling. They'll sleep better and you free up both of your arms for other things. By 7 months old, they will be ready for the pram seat.

      • @ChairmanMeow thank you very much for this I will show it to my wife ☺️ we are buying a baby sling carrier I was thinking the same just too afraid to challenge her 😂 I'm buying this Pram today! Really appreciate your input, take care.

Not sure what the go is with this pram. Seems everyone is clearing it out and it's probably being discontinued, as baby bunting was selling it for ~$300 a week or so ago.

I have the pram and think it's great. My wife doesn't have a big car, so the portability of it has been invaluable. Guess it just didn't sell well?

We have the Dragonfly and we’re very happy with it. Nice and light, folds easily and is nicely compact.

  • Thank you so much parents appreciate everyone's input the cybex seems like a good option as well, I like the idea of a simple fold like the dragonfly. It's compact as well which is great

  • Which one is better to use from new born, Bugaboo Dragonfly or Joolz Hub+? both are selling around the same price

    • from the specs, dragonfly appears to be lighter and more storage. drangonfly was released 2023 vs 2021 for the joolz hub+. for the same price, i'd lean towards the dragonfly but would love to hear if others think differently!

  • I'm watching for one of these on special for travelling

Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Premium Eco Black

    • +1

City Tour 2 was on sale during Black Friday and Boxing Day. Just missed it. :(

We were eyeing that as well until we realize it doesn't have a built-in carrying strap, so when you're travelling and need to fold up the stroller, you'll have to put it into a carrying bag/take it out. Since we're travelling to Kyoto where it's not really pram/wheelchair friendly, we'll probably find ourselves doing that a lot. We ended up going with Joolz Aer+ which ticked most of the boxes and it was $509 during Boxing Day.

      • Can I ask is the Joolz Aer+ overhead cabin friendly? Looking for a pram for overseas as well.

        • Joolz Aer+ is a tad bigger than the Babyzen Yoyo (22x54x45cm 6.4kg vs 18x52x44cm 6.2kg). Yoyo is fully recognized to be allowed in cabin. The generally consensus we read was to call the airline and check. It'd be ideal if it's allowed in cabin, but we don't mind if we need to leave it at the boarding gate.

  • Is this a good pram for everyday use and travelling for a newborn?

Will we have to replace it once the baby starts growing up?

    • +1

Seems like if you bought the separate bassinet for it, it would be fine and should suit your child until they no longer need the pram. As it is alone though, you wouldn't want to put a newborn in this style of pram seat since it can force their body to have to support them in positions that they aren't ready for and can cause issues with muscle and skeletal development.

  • Ok down to final two for me

    Bugaboo dragonfly
    Jool hub+

Thank you very much to every single person here, I really appreciate everyone's help and time.
