Everdure Kiln R-Series Gas Pizza Oven

Good people of OzBargain - I would love to buy an Everdure Kiln R-Series Gas Pizza Oven, hopefully in Terracotta colour (model#: EKILN2T). The RRP is $999, which is outside my budget.

I am wondering if I could dip into your bargain finding ninja skills to help me find a bargain.

Thank you all.

Also, if someone has Harvey Norman Commercial account, can tell me how much they are being sold for?

Just get the ALDI $199 unit next time it's on sale. It's a copy of the expensive ooni ovens.

We had homemade pizzas tonight. They cook in 90 seconds. Yes, pineapple on pizza is allowed.

Next time I give you a lift to JVs for the goat sacrifice I’ll get there early and we should have homemade pizza for lunch.
And yes, pineapple is allowed, as an OzBargain 1%er you can put anything you want on your pizza.

I can also bring the pizza oven to JVs and cook a goats cheese pizza.

    • I have the Aldi one and cant get the stone hot enough (using an infrared thermometer can only get it to around 370C after 20 minutes for the bit nearest the flame, centre around 350C). It cooks but takes a lot longer than 90sec. Any tips?

      • I preheat for 30 minutes minimum and get the stone to 430°c plus using an infrared. I rotate the stone 180 degrees after 15 minutes.

I turn the gas to minimum when the pizza is first put in and rotate 90 degrees every 15 seconds. I then return to full gas for 30 seconds and continuously rotate the stone slowly.

You will struggle to cook the base at 370°c.
