So much for the free year store warranty? No one to even take to the ACCC to contest, they disappeared it appears?

        Should be. They're based in HK and you have no recourse. ACCC is meaningless there.

            No, it's not. The clue is in the 'A'. It only applies to overseas companies doing business in Australia. In this case, HK Digital is not doing business in Australia. You choose to buy off their overseas HK website.

            Sure, if they ever bother to do so at this small scale, but even then, they don't have to comply or acknowledge them.

            I think you're taking far too much comfort in something that realistically won't ever cover you.

            @Dyl: i don't think you can trust a NEW drive or a FR drive to be any better than a PULL drive. paying a premium for either of them seems misguided

    The Shopify page has been their main site for quite a long time. It's cheaper to have a myshopify site than your own domain being wrapped around a Shopify site.

            @Dyl: That would be a redirection to the myshopify site and the same question would be asked. Why are they paying extra for a domain + DNS to redirect?

    They are also on holiday so you would need to wait and see.
