    Created an account for my partner and I. Ordered the Euro pillows after the firm sold out. Only $2.50 each and I used the new PayPal service where you pay after 21 days, so your more likely to get your orders before they even withdraw the money from your account. So didn't have to spend a cent just yet lol.

    Hmm, this was more of an error. It excludes sales items (which they have fixed now). pillows are full price - discount now.

    2425 clicks = a lot of free merchandise.
    Someone's prolly gonna get kicked in the nuts tomorrow at Tontine.
    Them's the breaks though. It was their choice or lack of planning that led to a 50% off sale and a no minimum spend voucher at the same time, and then Ozbargain came….
    I'm imagining a resident IT guy, with a handle such as Dark Coding Lord, or some such thing having to explain his little boo-boo to the boss.

      Keep in mind they have been giving away lots of pillows as part of their promotions (trade in your old ones) in recent years so probably not the end of the world. At least they set stock limits.

        Yep, they're pretty generous like that.
        Still, those pillow exchange drives most likely come from the promotional budget and are well thought out in terms of excellent, positive media exposure. This is just money down the dunny, as it buys them little in return other than some happy Ozbargainers.

      The conditions for the coupon code does state that it excludes sale items, so it wouldn't surprise me if Tontine decides to cancels orders given that all stock was already 50% off as part of their Boxing Day sales.

        We'll see. I'd guess the other way, as they have just recently set up their online sales. Wouldn't be at all surprised if they cop it sweet. Not so much to leave a positive impression, but to avoid a negative one. They seem quite advertising smart.

    I feel all the company are doing a Harvey Norman now and are not willing to help or "gain" customers with their attitude. example was i went to JBs last week as i was going to buy a wii u for my little cousin Bday. BigW had the deal $349 basic with zombi U. JBs told me that they wont match online prices but i told them its in store aswell which there was one upstairs (Highpoint) he just said sorry, you should go there then.

    with these pillows they better honour it or stores will follow suit and next thing you know they will do as they please like receipts for refunds in store will be a thing of the past.

    Next XMAS/BOXING i shop at home online from overseas stores…
