Hey everyone,
I recently moved into a new place and could use some help with furnishing my open-plan living and dining area (under 60sqm). I’m 30 and honestly not great at figuring out what works together… colours, furniture styles, layouts, all that.
I like the idea of getting an interior designer’s input, but I’m not looking for a full-service package where they handle everything. I just need guidance on what to buy and how to arrange things so I don’t end up regretting my choices.
Any recommendations for:
- Interior designers or consultants in Sydney who offer advice without pushing full furnishing services?
- Online or in-person services that focus on guidance rather than full-scale design?
- Budget-friendly stores or resources that provide design help?
Would really appreciate any tips… thanks in advance!
Ikea offer an interior design service https://www.ikea.com/au/en/customer-service/services/interio…
Obviously they will plan it out with Ikea furnishings but you could always substitute their ideas with products from another company.
Similarly Dulux have a Colour Design Service https://www.dulux.com.au/services/colour-design-service/over… which could help tie everything together
