Salutations to the Ozbargainers of Perth and the FIFO workers who make this scorching hot city terrifying after about 8pm.
I'm performing my new show My Kind of Comedian at Terrarium Bar at 7.10pm every night from tonight until Saturday as part of Fringeworld. Tickets are moving along, but there are still quite a few seats left each night. This is a new show that I'm touring to Adelaide and Melbourne and I'd love to have some bums on seats to help me fine-tune the jokes before the Melbourne comedy festival.
If you'd like a free ticket to the show, I can give you an artist comp by manually entering a name and email into the system.
- You can email [email protected] with the subject line FREE TICKETS - [DATE] and I can process it for you, or
- you can message me here.
- You can turn up at the venue any night and mention OzBargain and if there's a free seat, it's yours free of charge!
Apologies for not having a code to enter, the Fringeworld website is a bit of a nightmare to navigate.
This is my 12th year in comedy, and I've been on the ABC, BBC, SBS, Ch 7 and I've got 20M+ views on my standup on social media. I've had many OzBargainers come to my shows over the years and am yet to have any complaints/death threats/refund requests, so I reckon I'm good value for a night out.
Cheers, and stay air-conditioned.
David
EDIT:
Thanks to everyone who has responded so far!
Fringeworld has told me that I've used up my "free ticket allocation" and I'll be charged 50c per free ticket issued from now on.
I'm totally fine with that, but ask that if you message for a ticket, you make sure you come to the show. Otherwise it's a tiny bit of money down the drain for me.
EDIT #2:
I've had messages asking if I have a discount code for folks to want to buy tickets - if you enter HALFOFF on the Fringeworld website, you'll get $15 tickets (normally $30).
Have you considered reaching out to promotix or rushtixs?
I'll check my schedule to see if we can pop down.
