Cashback Question Regarding eBay (TopCashback)

Hi guys,

Was just wondering if someone could kindly clarify regarding eBay cashback for a winning bid purchase?

https://www.topcashback.com.au/ebay/

As the terms say:

a) Cashback is ineligible on the following: any coupon code use (unless specifically listed on TopCashback); travel category items; charity & non-profit items; shipping; eBay plus memberships; purchase of any gift cards; best offer accepted prices & auctions; purchases using any type of voucher or eBay credit. Note: payments made with eBay gift cards are eligible for cashback.

b) Cashback is eligible only on legitimate "Buy It Now" or "Winning Bid" transactions.

So just unsure whether or not auctions are included or not.

Thanks so much

does this not answer your own question?

      a) best offer accepted prices & auctions

wouldn't Winning Bid be considered an Auction?

      • Perhaps OP just needs to talk it out before he/she sees it.

          wait i'm confused

          a) Cashback is ineligible … best offer accepted prices & auctions

          b) Cashback is eligible only on legitimate "Buy It Now" or "Winning Bid" transactions.

aren't auctions same as winning bid, how can you make a winning bid without participating in an auction on eBay?

both terms cancel each other out so nobody can know for sure, whether auctions are included?

@mantra: Pay attention to the punctuation used; auctions as a general category are not what's being excluded in section a.
