Air Conditioning and Air Purifier from Panasonic

Hi I was all set to install a mistibushi reverse cycle air con. But then the Panasonic nanoe X air technology came to my attention. It purifies air quality and claims to asist with allergies as well as smoother skin and hair. This all happens while the unit is running. Does anybody have any information on this?

  • The Panasonic Air Job, how can OP possibly resist?

  • Watch the extended marketing material, it wipes your brow and a$$ too !!!

I struggle to believe people are this naive. I would like to think OP is a marketing guy for Panasonic.

Anyway a lot of AC manufacturers have similar technology. See Choice article

Marketing guy for Panasonic here. Can confirm OP is not me.

My personal opinion with 2 Panasonic units in the home is that it absolutely does work for deodorising odours. We have a stupid open plan kitchen, and can confirm smoke and smells from cooking that used to linger for ages are more quickly and more thoroughly neutralised. Haven't noticed any difference on the hair and skin, but I don't really suffer from dry skin, so your mileage may vary.

It's also handy that you can run the nanoe X independently without having to run it in conjunction with the Air Conditioning function.

    They all have a filter.

    • nanoe X doesn't need a filter and has no consumables. It is a separate function to the 'air filter panel' portion of a standard air conditioner.

It also increases virility and potency, so you have to consider the costs of extra children in your household.

Looks like a fancy ionizer, which if it is will create some Ozone, which isn't good for you.

All you need is a HEPA filter + VOC (activated carbon).

  • I would be focusing more on the ramp up and down of the inverters.
Panasonic can ramp up and down a lot more than some other brands i compared.

  • I have Panasonic units, they are great. Pretty sure the nanoe X thing is just an ioniser. It was not something that made me buy Panasonic.

  • Very happy with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries split system. Took the air filters out to clean them yesterday, they are now much more efficient at purifying the air inside my home.
