Why do you think quality tap wear important, has always seemed a bit like hand bags to me, once you get away from the cheap and nasty, the expensive stuff is just essentially paying for the wank factor.
I’m all for saving money, but not compromising quality and longevity without issue. Cheap tapware can rust, discolour and at worst leak, causing more expensive repairs or plumbing issues in the long term
I would not save on a built in shower mixer (like the one I posted and will use in my own bathroom). Of course you can get far cheaper options but I rather have a quality item which lasts. Considering how much it will cost to replace a broken mixer, fix the waterproofing, tile again, … I rather spend a bit of money upfront (in the big picture of a bathroom renovation not a lot when you get them at this price.).
For items which are easily replaceable go for cheaper options when you think they are quality.
(I personally am over buying cheap crap which breaks down … rather buy less and quality.)
Not premium quality. Had to replace 4 taps for chrome plating issues and a leaking kitchen sink tap within 2 years.
