Timex Expedition Freedive Ocean - Quartz Solar Watch $115 Delivered @ Catch

SALE10

If you have credit at Catch you need to use up this watch is a great option. I bought one last year from Myer when they had extra % off and paid a bit less, and I've been really happy with it. Great as an outdoors or beater watch, good legibility, lume doesn't entirely suck, the bezel action is really nice, and it's really light to wear all day long. The supplied fabric strap is a bit stiff at first but will break in with regular use, if you want to swap it out note that it's 22mm lugs. Unfortunately, no Indiglo lighting so at full price I wouldn't recommend, but when it's this cheap I'll forgive the omission.

It's also on sale at Watch Direct in two colourways for $118.60 delivered with the code LOVE15, but there are only 8 of each in stock at time of posting so don't qualify as a deal on their own.

  • That's cheap, good deal. I got too many watches and beaters but still tempted :P.
Other people should jump on it if they don't have a field style watch.

  • Looks good, I shouldn’t…

    Unlesssss?

…unless it would look good on you? :-p

      Why wouldn't you.. which colour?

      • +1

        Definitely would be black imo

          Would be, not is?
Yeah green look bit washed out.

  • 30m for the green, 50m for the black. Actually, I don't trust the specs here - found a few other inconsistancies. EG for green watch: band is either "green rubber", "leather" or "ocean fabric"; the picture shows green band, but the specs say it's black. Green case is "steel", black case is "#tide ocean material®". Green has "INDIGLO night-light", no mention of that for black.

  • Fingers crossed deals will get better as we get closer to 30/4/25.

    • Ha how much cheaper do you want, what's the ATL?

      • I'm sure they will be highly motivated, assuming their inventory is reasonably large.

  • +1

Update: timex own specs seem to be consistent - no mention of indiglo for either, both have same straps and cases etc. They do have a unidirectional bezel.

    • I have the green, can confirm no Indiglo, case back says 50m, and strap is most definitely all nylon fabric.
