The included Apple calculator app already does currency conversion.

On the Apple Watch you can use Siri.

No reason to install yet another app from a random developer.

Just because an app is free, doesn’t mean you should install it.

I didn’t actually know the calculators had built in currency converter these days.

When you open the calculator app there is a calculator icon on the number pad you can select currency from there. Live data conversion comes from yahooFinance

      • I didn’t know either, it’s new in iOS 18 though I’ve been using it in Spotlight search for years

trustworthy developer, you can tell by the name: 良峰 侯

That's just peddling a stereotype. What if the dev doesn't know English? Seriously. Just because their name is in another language doesn't make them untrustworthy or a scammer by default.

why would you be so stupid as not to put Liang Feng Hou

Not free any more. This morning in the app store it was back to $1.99.
