Seeking best value robot vacuum for hard floor (+ couple of thinnish rugs) whose primary function will be to deal with the large quantities of black hair that our Labrador sheds daily.
I look at the OzB posts and am surprised at the massive price range, from <200 to >1500.
Presumably the quality, longevity, functionality, suction power, navigation ability etc increases as the price goes up, but what is the sweet spot assuming I am only interested in the dog-hair task (and not things like mopping).
I got a Dreame X40 Ultra (on sale ATM for about $1700) and that deals with the cat hair pretty well.
Got a dock with bags and water bins. It goes pretty hard.
Big 2 storey house with hardwood floors. Gets into corners pretty well. No rugs but two bedrooms have carpet downstairs.
