          I picked size 10 assuming was us, but it was 10 au. = 10.5 us, so half a size to big. Im gutted

        • I dont know wt* they list on the size guide us when it is au.

      • Yes, we had to return both pairs of shoes, did not fit at all.
        We went to their store and spend probably around 20 minutes arguing since they did not want to allow either return nor exchange.
        In the end exchanged two pairs of sneakers Adidas and Puma for one shirt and paid 3 dollars on top.

    • My order came today. Same sizing issue happened with me. Ordered 10 pairs of Adidas for myself, wife, daughter and son and all sizes were too big. Both women and mens can in UK size. Hoping my teenage son who had a bigger size foot than I do, can fit into mine.

    • They are big time idiots mentioned US size in their website and sent UK sizes, no wonder why they are closing their business. I ordered an adidas n a puma both shoes are useless now.

      At this rate, we probably need to organise swaps amongst ourselves. Doubt they’ll be able to let us exchange if they’re shutting down.

    Seems every time you ask for an update they give you no update and say to wait 10 days from then:

    "Thank you for reaching out to us about your recent order. We appreciate your inquiry and are pleased to provide you with an update.

    Just wanted to note and share my experience if it could help someone who may have just ordered and didn't see any notification after ordering (besides that the order had been confirmed by Rivers) / or haven't received their delivery yet or haven't heard from Rivers yet to confirm the order had been shipped, or if you wanted to use as a reference point, since Rivers will be closing down soon.

    I ordered on 27/01/2025 and got a notification from Auspost on 03/02/2025 that delivery will be arriving on Tuesday 04/02/2025 (For reference, I had ordered around 20 items so this may be the reason why it took a bit longer than usual to get all the stock from their warehouse or stores - compared to some other commenters on Ozbargain) For me though, I feel 5 business days is great and was deliveried in a well-paced time frame, especially considering with everything happening with the closures.

    So in total it took about 5 business days for my delivery (around 20 items).

    If you haven't heard after almost 7 - 10 business days, I would follow up with Rivers to check in.

    I would, like many others, also not pay using bank debit details, but via Paypal or perhaps credit card, in case you need to action buyer's protection or charge back if items do not get delivered or are heavily delayed. I am not too familiar with After pay option and its protection, but that was another available pay option in the check-out at Rivers online.

    I read that Rivers (from other comments here) may be closing down around April 2025, so probably best to finalise any purchases with the heavily discount closing down sales this month / early March to prepare for and account for enough time for Rivers to manage their deliveries.

    Edit: Also for those lookin to get shoes, from the other comments here, it seems the sizing is based on UK / AUS sizing, as opposed to US sizing which was listed in the sizing guide for Rivers. If anyone is looking to purchase shoes or anything similar, please note this / check and read the other comments here.

  • They are hopeless. All 4 pairs of shoes were sent the wrong size.

  • Received all 6 Pairs with UK sizing, and NOT as the US sizing which is what it shows on their website. Wrong and bigger sizes delivered. No wonder they are closing down.

      • I'll try to gift them to family/friends. If nobody wants them, then donate to salvos. There's no way Rivers would have any replacements available. If anyone would like to swap them from here, up for that as well.

  • Finally received the pair of mens Puma shoes. It was UK sizing instead of US (Size guide mentioned)

    I've just lodged a dispute with PayPal for a refund. Let's see how that goes.

  • Ordered 26 Jan still pending. Lodged Paypal dispute still no seller response. Should get refund 26 Feb.
