No no no no I can't fit another packet in my house. Well maybe.

    Up to 2000mAh
    Country of origin: ‎ Japan

  • What charger do people use for these? We seem to have misplaced ours.

    • NimH chargers

      • +7

Ah yes, those Irish Neve ones.

    • +2

Use a smart charger like a nitecore d4

    • The XTAR VC4 is pretty good! It works with different batteries of higher voltage too.

Any major differences between these and LADDA? Just ordered more from IKEA as finally in stock (delivery). They are so much better then other cheap batteries I've bought previously. What I've read previously made in same factory? Just rebranded, but might be wrong. Cannot believe last ones disappeared in all the kids toys scattered around.

    • Thanks for asking and I’m also waiting for the answer from OzExperts.

Thats what they said, all apparently come from same factory

As far as I’m aware, Panasonic is the only company left in Japan that makes this kind of batteries. So if it’s made in Japan, it can only be made by them.

    • Last time this was asked, information was shared that said the LADDA are lower mAh now

These Eneloop ones are "only 2000mAh"

IKEA LADDA AA are 2450mAh ($12/4pack)
they also have other cheaper ones 1900mAh ($10/4pack)

LADDA AAA are now only available in 750 mAh. There used to be a 900mAh version for AAA in the past but no longer available.

    • Looks like only Canberra has the 2450mAh in store stock. Delivery is $5 so $29 for 8 isn't bad. I bought the EBL ones off amazon and although I love the colours I'm not sure they are similar quality to Ladda or Eneloop.

I've always wanted to buy something that takes AA just so I could buy eneloops and make it run consistently for years, at a bargain price and saving me money.

    • Yeah I have nothing that needs them. Except a crappy enegizer headtorch that uses 3x AAA.
Still get excited by these deals though.

    • The main thing we use them for these days in xbox controllers. Have several old aldi and ikea batteries that all still seem to work fine.

      • Yep, Xbox remotes and kids night lights, toys and clocks. They always forget to turn them off so with these no drama. Got the Philips head on standby everyday and in same box as recharged batteries.

Probably go through 20 or so/week.

Have some kids, that will give you a use :D Our kids toys devour batteries. We have probably 40-50 in circulation between AA and AAA.

How many do I need to make it equivalent to Tesla battery bank?

    • At least one

    Wow pre-charged! Bargain!

  • How does the subscribe and save work are they always the lower price? And how often do they send them? Can you subscribe now buy cheaper and then cancel that as soon as delivered or even prior to your first order being sent

    • You can choose how often you'd like it sent to you, and yes you can subscribe, receive your order and cancel before the next one gets sent.
If you're worried you can set the delivery interval to something like a couple months, then cancel. :-)

      • Are they different prices or always the current price

        • It'll be the current price when it's due to be shipped. So always cancel after you receive the package.

    • No, next delivery is very likely to be different price. Little trick by Amazon but now you know

  • Are they cheaper if they dont come pre-charged?

    • Pre-charged is the only option.

      • I feel so.. Ripped off.
