I've got the mid size version and so far it's been very good, but I can see how the things reported in those reviews would happen to the big case due to the flex in the zip.

Another suitcase deal? This is clearly a ploy by bigSUIT

If you are going to buy a new suitcase, consider a top opening hardcase like the Tosca Horizon or Tosca Space-X. Most of the convenience of a soft case with the protection of a hardcase. I don't think we would ever even consider a standard hardcase again.

    • i bought a hardcase but havent used it yet, Whats the difference / advantage ? Scratch that, i think i get it, instead of having items on both sides or toppling out, its like a soft cover one, where they all stay on one side. Hmmm, I havent used my hardcase yet, but am a bit worried now.

I don't understand why hard cases are so popular.
Suitcases were better 20 years ago - soft case and only 2 wheels which were much more durable.

      • Hardcases are lighter and also can protect your contents better apparently. But the issue is they don't fit as much usually and also can break easier than the softcases.

        • I've never had anything damaged in a soft case. Maybe if people are transporting wine glasses or something…

          • @fredblogs: For me, it hasnt happened often, but i have had plastic body wash containers and shampoo / contact lens solution containers, items like that have broken for me.

            • @lonewolf: Is there some reason you aren't wrapping those fragile items in a towel ?

Suitcase packing 101. Pad your fragile items, and pad them well 🤷‍♂️

              • @Nom: Yes, I have had them wrapped in clothing and then my clothing has had them leak all over them when they have broken. Basically meant i got my clothes washed once i arrived whenever this has happened. Although I dont think Body wash containers and shampoo bottles being considered as fragile items in the past. I have also tried having them in toiletry bags.

We have a couple of these and haven't had any issues. We love it. It's very light and rollers are great.
