2) Kenya Nyeri Washed Single Origin, only $31.50 per 1kg (usually $52.50 per 1kg) and $18.15 per 500g (usually $30.25 per 500g)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • We're happy to accommodate dispatch date and click and collect/pickup changes, you just need to select a new dispatch date either via clicking the "Edit or View Your Order" button in the order confirmation page or simply logging into you Lime Blue Coffee account at least the day before the current date you have selected for your order
  • One dispatch per order
  • Please ensure you use the "shipping" dispatch date selector on the cart page if you'd like your order delivered to you and that you use the "click and collect" date/time selector if you'd like to pickup your order. If you plan to pickup your order please ensure you select the "pickup in store" delivery option on the checkout page, as this not only eliminates the shipping fee for you, but also allocates your order to the click and collect system we have in place, so it means you'll receive different notification messaging to assist you towards a smooth pickup experience
  • Any existing orders are unable to be changed from delivery to click and collect due to the different tech systems in place
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packaging (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $4.80 per kg including the discount (normally $8 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be submitted via a reply message to your order confirmation email
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag

FREE SHIPPING for orders over $69. For example, 2kg of Colombia Cauca Single Origin packed in 500g bags AKA 4x500g bags via this deal is exactly $69 thus unlocks the highly sought after FREE SHIPPING. We recommend freezing any excess bags purchased to quality for free shipping, without compromising on enjoying fresh coffee.

  • How long does it usually take for a click and collect order to be ready?

    • Hey @BrokeCamel appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

Great question. It really depends on a number of factors, primarily how busy dispatch is on a given day. On the cart page you'll see a Click and Collect calendar where you can reserve a pick up day/time based on current dispatch availability. For example, right now you can pick up an order as soon as tomorrow (today's already at full capacity and tomorrow's filling up quickly) :)

      • Ah I should have gone through the checkout and looked. Thanks!

        • No stress :)

  • With delayed dispatch, the roast date will be closer to the delayed dispatch date yea?

    • Never hurts to double check!

Yes we only dispatch super fresh coffee "You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting" :)

  • Holding out for the Peru or more thank you!

  • I'm wondering if it's just me but I found the last batch of Kenya Nyeri to be a super tight-pack coffee. Even though I didn't change the grind size from what I always use for others (BSP, MTM, TY, etc) with this one I use far less and tamp much lighter than the others to get the right pressure; if I try using the same amount of coffee and tamping the pressure goes way up. Just an observation, though - as long as I'm careful when switching beans I still get an awesome cup.

    • +1

Morning @Chazzozz terrific feedback, thank you!!!

The dose should be the same across those different coffees. However, the structure of the bean and the lighter roast profile of our Kenya will mean your grind setting will likely need a tweak compared to BSP, MTM…This Lot has a slightly higher density level than last year and a bit more sweet vanilla notes that are fondly found in Kenyan coffee, but still those terrific flavour notes of last years lot :)

    • +1

Good cafes will tune their grind/tamp even during the day with the same beans, as ambient humidity and minor changes in freshness can have an effect. It's always worth a little fiddle each day.

  • Which would you recommend for making cold brew using an Osubu cold brew maker.

    • Hey @sydboy007 both are wonderful options for Cold Brew, so you can't really go wrong from an extraction perspective. Have a look at the tasting notes and pick which ones suits your preferences best, or get one of each so you've got the best of both worlds :)

  • I'm finally nearing the last of my freezer stocks from a bunch of previous deals, so grabbed 1kg of each of these for a few weeks from now :)

    • Wonderful to hear, thank you so much for another terrific combo order!!!

Love your freezing/planning ahead skills to ensure you don't need to worry about running out of the good stuff :)

      • I've got several sealable plastic containers that fit the 500g bags of beans. Just leave the beans in the bag, into the container, into the freezer. Then leave them in the container to defrost so they don't collect condensation at the other end. After a day, transfer the beans to my big glass screw lid jars. Then scoop 21g into my grinder each time I want a coffee :) trying to keep every step as late as possible to maximise freshness. Still not as good as real fresh fresh, but pretty damn close. And not nearly as bad as running out and needing to bridge a gap with supermarket beans!
