The worst tasting beer in the best looking bottle award winner.

    • Australia's answer to Heineken. Both are insipid and pointless. The bottle's the best bit.

  • I bought one to remember what it tastes like.
4.9% for $50 is just an OK deal

What is the reason that CUB won't deliver to Queensland? It's ridiculous.

    • They know that they can't compete with Great Northern, so they make it look like it's their doing to save face.

      • +1

        CUB makes Great Northern

  • Crown = VB. No difference

    • used to be Crown is top 1/3 of Fosters tank.

Grabbed a 6 pack last week for $15 for nostalgia (mate was leaving town and we used to drink these 20 years ago).

      It was terrible.

Thank you for leaving SA out of this.

  • What are your best full strength imported beers? Nasttro azzurro good?
Asahi are Chinese made these days aren’t they?

    • I'm pretty sure Asahi is brewed in Japan and Australia. Sapporo was better years ago when it wasn't made in Australia or Vietnam imho. , the original 500ml cans (Japanese) used to be my favourite full strength beer.

      • +1

All the Asahi's are brewed here even the 500ml cans are no longer imported but brewed right here in Richmond iirc.

        • +1

Nope, wrong. Do some more research. The mid strength and zero alcohol are both from Japan as is the 2L jug full strength.

Should be free if you want me to drink that.

  • Not delivery to my NSW address.

  • So these things are only in business cause old people like remember the taste of pis$?

If this was manufactured in Asia every typical bogus Aussie would racially cuss and say it’s made of actual piss.

Genuinely amazed ozb folks seem to think this is the WORST beer they've had. You guys need to get out more, there is some awful stuff out there including plenty of micro brewery stuff given creative names/marketing to cover up terrible beer.

    • +2

Agree, there are far worse, even allowing for personal tastes.

  • has the price changed since last night? It's showing as $61 per case….

    • yeah looks like it has expired unfortunately, i have now marked this deal as expired.
