Budget Android Smartwatch for Notifications, Accepting Calls and AOD Time?

Moved over to android and replacing my Apple Watch s5 which I got becuase thats when they got always on display. I didn't really use much of the other smart apps other than a clock, silent notifications and accepting phone calls without pulling out my phone while wearing airpods. Not really inclined to pay 300+ for the latest smart watched that I won't get full use of. Smaller sizes also fit me better (thinner arms).

My fold 6 will be staying in range always, so no cellular needed. 1 day battery life is also fine cause I charge overnight.

Amazfit seems to have a lot of options in the 100 dollar range. Galaxy Fit 3 seems also reasonable, since its got AOD and I dont need multiday battery life. However the main thing is that I have no idea how any of these watches will integrate with calling and bluetooth headphones.

Redmi Watch 5 Lite being $75 is also enticing to try. However seems a little bigger.

  • Fit 3 can only reject incoming calls. Most amazfit watches can take Bluetooth calls and earbuds can be connected directly to the watch through its settings menu.

  • Amazfit is probably better than Xiaomi redmi watches in terms of app design. We've got two Xiaomi Watch S1's, The Xiaomi companion app for android is a little clunky and for some reason tends to lose sync with the watch, forcing you to unpair and repair.

The Xiaomi Watch series do support calling, AOD and music playback, pretty cheap as well at $160 if you want the Active version

If you can afford it, the Amazfit Balance (2023) is a pretty premium watch with a round dial + BT calling + AOD. If you can't afford it then look at the older Amazfit GT series, like the Amazfit GTR 4 (released in 2022)

    $272

    $275 different colour

If you don't care about heart rate whatever, any cheap smartwatch under $100 even unknown brands should be able to fill your need …

You have Fold 6 phone which is very expensive (maybe you are on postpaid plan).
