Didn't like their Samosas, the onion and the spinach bhajis were good though.

Love the Naan, a minute heated from frozen in the old pop up toaster for half decent Naan.

Thanks boss! Will try the Naan

their samosa is crap compared to sabrini at least for my taste :)

Second that - Sabrini Paneer is the best and hot

@Maxdax: I didn't like Sabrini! I bough them last time they were on sale.

You can try popping this in the airfryer for a few minutes with a dash of butter or Ghee

A tip: when you heat up the Naan, let it thaw on room temperature for 30-60mins, then in a fry pan on medium heat, put your naan, splash few drops of water around it and cover it. The naan will come out soft, just like freshly cooked. You can use oil if there is a risk of sticking to pan.

      Naan of your business

        stop naan sense

    • Aloo Paratha is amazing with tomato soup. Or if you want a full Indian experience, eat with yogurt with salt and red chilli powder.

  • Will nutcracker crack my nuts?

I can confirm the Naan is a very nice 8/10 vs takeaway place 9/10 vs sit-down restaurant 10/10 (plus refrigerated ones 6.5/10).

Can anyone recommend a good value ghee?

    • +2

      No such thing

Britannia Cow Ghee, Amul Ghee, Moksha ghee ( from Costco)

      • +2

+1 for the Costco Ghee. Have moved to using ghee instead of butter on most things and the ones they sell at Costco seems to be of the highest quality. Pure Soul was from NZ and was organic but Moksha is good too not sure if is certified Organic though.

      • It will be more expensive like this

        • +1

It is cheaper and you get the best quality. No adulteration.

thanks, bought some of the plain naan. Used it to make a garlic pizza in my electric pizza maker….cooked in 5 minutes and turned out great. I won't bother making pizza dough anymore. Yes, they aren't that great, but as it takes such a short time to cook, I can do a couple of pizzas very quickly.

  • How come Coles don't seem to sell Sabrini any more? My local hasn't had any for months, I only see Haldiram's. BTW, Sabrini Chilli Milli FTW, every single time.
