    Scam RRP

    • It doesn't say anything about the RRP - it just advises us not to pay $269.

    • Sounds like a strong case for ACCC

Lol, looks like the $10 ones. RRP is a joke.

RRP is insanely inflated. Similar ones (same model number) on ebay for under $10 here

Damn, I paid $269.98 last week.

  • Yeap, basically a sub $10 multimeter that can be bought at Bunnings or Jaycar.

    Batteries: 1 × 9V Battery 6F22 (Not Included)

this means half the value isnt there

    RRP $2.6998 more likely

  • Saying that $269.98 is "the price at for which the same or nearly identical item is being offered for sale or has been offered for sale recently" is straight up false advertising. This exact design has been kicking around for decades as the cheapest mustimeter you can find. I wouldn't pay more than $10 full price if it included the battery.

I definitely wouldn't let it anywhere near the claimed 750VAC.

    • I guess Kogan can list it for $269.98 for an hour then reduce the price? Isn't that pretty much what Coles and Woolies have just been found to have done with their 'reduced' prices?

  • RRP $269.98
