Anyone have any success getting a new mobile plan to take over a current existing Telstra number recently?
I've done it 3 times in the past but last time was two years ago.
Has the systems changed?

So I have a number with Telstra already. In the past, I've bought a new phone contract with JB Hifi (#345), then contacted Telstra for a contract take over with the JBHifi and the existing number (#123). #345 was ported over to (#123) and the contract was kept.
Do you mean , to get around the new customer only clause for bonus gift card?
