Towels & Sheet Seller Recommendations

Was thinking it was time to treat myself with some better quality sheets and towels rather than my cheap and disposable Kmart ones.

Looking for Egyptian Cotton towels and some Bamboo Sheet Sets.

Anyone recommend any online sellers/brands?

Thanks in advance.

  • The towels from Muji are pretty good

if you want good sheets, try linen rather than bamboo (Eg Sandy Cape linen). That said, linen is textured/a bit rough and bamboo is very soft and smooth, so depends on what you prefer. Bamboo is probably the lower risk - some people seem to dislike linen quite a lot. You can also get eucalyptus sheets eg (https://ohsheet.com.au/products/eucalyptus-sateen-sheet-set?…) that are pretty much the same as bamboo (same manufacturing process - remembering that cheaper 'bamboo' sheets are really viscose, unless you are buying 'lyocell' in which case its only semi synthetic; That said, they are what they are and being synthetic or wholly 'natural' per linen doesnt make one better than the other from a sleeping perspective).

    Target

    • 400TC Supima
      .

  • Spotlight have sheets on special at the moment, I bought Koo Bamboo/Cotten 400 thread count sheet set for $160, it fits a double bed.

  • I recently treated myself to some Ecoy bamboo sheets and love them, but the price was a stinger.

I then bought a set of canningvale bamboo sheets (which are viscose) and they are nowhere near as nice as the Ecoy sheets.

If I buy a third set, it will be Ecoy again on sale - though those eucalyptus sheets look interesting!

    Canningvale

  • Sheridan millennia 1200TC buy on specials as a fitted sheet is about $350 but will last a lifetime. Had mine nearly 10 years and still love them.

  • Looking at [ettitude - CleanBamboo Signature Sateen Sheet Set] (https://www.ettitude.com.au/products/sateen-sheet-set-ocean?…) but at $304 for a set im a little scared. Got some pricing checking to see if there are any other bamboo lyocell options.

Maybe i'm being too picky not getting the bamboo+rayon blends. Australia allows 100% Bamboo branding to include rayon while US sued a few companies over it.

    Still looking at towels.
