I feel like this is basically the standard pricing now, noone should be paying the regular rates with the frequency of this deal. Thanks OP

Even this is a poor deal without stacking the $20 voucher to get $200 for $80 (and paying for that $80 with discounted gift cards).

Your move, Timezone. I can wait.

    • This plus stacking with gift card deals via woolies

  • any kingpin deal for $600 instead of $500?

      • That double credit, can be used for Bowling ?? if not what is the way to get bowling cheaper ?? We have Zone bowling close to us and they have Mega/ Mini pass with Bowling and games stuff.

        • +1

Yes according to the customer service agent on the phone.

        • I was told by customer service that is a no. The credits are Only for arcade

          • @Diesmile: Interesting. I rang Zone Bowling 1300 368 067 and was told yes.
I rang Time Zone 1300 421 567 and was told yes for some venues.

    • @everyone Kingpin Double Dollars

      • Thanks, its just the standard double though, no extra offer

  • Can this be use for the Birthday Party payment?

    • +3

I rang 1300 421 567 and was told no. You can use discounted gift cards.

      • +1

        Thanks for the update.

  • The real deal is waiting for these deals, and using the credit to pay for activities such as bowling, laser, etc.

    • +1

Hang on…. You can use TZ credit to pay for Zone Bowling games?

    • +2

Thought we cannot use credit to pay for anything other than arcades?

      • +3

That's correct you cannot. Not sure what the folk is saying

      • +1

I’ve used it for food as well. But not bowling laser etc

    • How do you do that?
Last time I tried paying for bowling with a Timezone gift card, I couldn’t do it.

  • +3

They need to just get rid of the VIP discount on games now, it's an insult at 10c lol

  • +1

Those ticket games where you have to fire the coins and it knocks them into the tray with the cards.. what is the deal with them? Saw someone on the weekend sit there for about an hour playing it

    • +7

It’s called addiction!! It’s almost like the casinos but you don’t have to be an adult.

    • +1

How else do they get their daily dose of Willy Wonka and Alice in Wonderland? Watch the movies? Pfft, that would mean all they'd be doing is sitting down and staring at something while barely moving for an hour!

    • BEST GAME AT THE CASINO

    • Wait till you find out Otto for the Wizard of Oz coin pusher game is a 'rare' card and go round to different timezones to see if it's dropped!

    • yea, i love those. its addictive. I still havent seen a golden ticket

      • +1

I’ve managed to get it once, it’s literally just chance, I read the game machine instruction manual on how they calculate the drop rate.

    • The yellow brick road song must be getting on their nerves

If anyone lives in or around Cronulla there a new timezone near the station.

    • Up! Up! Cronulla!

  • +2

The new claw machines suck balls. Not that the old ones were that much better 😂

  • Deal needs to be $80 for $200 then it's worth it. Anything else just subpar

  • +1

They have upped the price of each game more than double to compensate these offers. It ain a deal anymore just regular pricing…

  • Used to be Black Friday only. Now it’s every couple weeks… thier prices are ridiculous normally

Any games that can last more than 2 mins per swap? At least an hour play to get myself entertained otherwise I shall better game at home.

    • +3

not sure what's at your local arcade but rhythm games are lots of fun and last like up to 15mins a game depending on what one you're playing

      • Dancing is not my type yet. But I'm ok playing with hands. I always see a group of Japanese guys (from the look) taking over the maimai/drum/guitar machines and games after games for hours. They are really good at them. I do want to give maimai a try.

        • i am one of those people playing maimai all day LOL (except im a white dude). defo give it a go it's extremely fun and the community is pretty okay as far as rhythm game communities go

          • @moxuuuu: Ohh was it you at the Garden City TimeZone? haha I saw 1-2 white like among them. Also, not sure what card the girl uses swapping between each play. It looks like a maimai card or related.

            • +1

@bcYield: i was at the garden city timezone for the first time like a week ago but there's tonssss of players there and i was only there for like a hour lol high chance it wasnt me, i mainly play in surfers. the card was probably an aime card which allows you to save ur scores, retain ur custom settings etc, it's kinda a need if you play often and theyre like 5 dollars from the counter

if ur at garden city tho u should check out Chunithm and Sound Voltex (chuni is like behind the maimai cabs next to dance rush and sound voltex is to the left of maimai), they're both super fun too.

              • @moxuuuu: Definetely give all of them each a go. Yea it was full of people during the holiday period. School days there are plenty of spaces. I tried surfers once/twice and it is much bigger. Haven't checked maimai there yet tho. Maybe next trip. By then I shall gain some experiences. Still nervous as a beginner to make a start while surrounded by pro players watching.

                • @bcYield: surfers is massive yeah i think its the worlds biggest timezone. if you go early like around opening time on weekdays usually there'll be like 1-2 people there or no one at all. dont feel pressured at all by the pro players, i guarantee you they're not judging you (as long as you don't bash the cab 🙏🙏)

surfers also has taiko right next to the maimai cab which is also pretty fun but not my thing

    • +2

Taiko no Tatsujin (The game with the drum)

Half the time some kid has come along, swiped it, not understood how to start it, got bored and left, so you get to play it for free anyway

    • +1

Shooting games like Jurassic park, house of the dead. Some have initial D

  • They should bring back Street fighters, KOF, Tekken

    • They won't. They allow users to play a long time using single credit, and does not maximise the revenue generation potential.

  • It says that the credit is valid for 12 months. However, after I loaded mine, it says credit expiring Sep 2025.
Or it doesn't differentiate between my old credit and new credit? Or I need to use up my old credit before it would state credit expiring Jan 2026 ?

    • It's 12 months from when you last used the card to play something.

I suppose for a brand new card it would be 12 months from load date.

      • Might also have something to do with reloading a card online. I know for sure that doing that doesn't renew your Gold/Platinum 90 days of free plays timer, but you might also not get the renewed 12 month credit expiry from reloading online as well.

  • Cmon guys hold for the $20
