pity it can't handle the airplanes that have 2x 3.5mm jacks.
need to carry another adaptor for that

    • I recently had a long haul flight where the dual jacks were recessed into the seat arm, so much so that my adapter couldn't fit.

  • One that acts as a receiver too would be nice, as long as this thing is cluttering up our drawers anyway.

Would be great if someone made these Bluetooth audio transmitters that uses AA or AAA batteries. This is a device that I will seldom use, but will be handy when travelling. It would be nice to be able to simply replace the battery when it's flat or deteriorates with age.

    • I mean your headphones will probably die long before this, even twice over. And your headphones will deteriorate faster than this too. At this price it's a bargain.

OK, I'm gonna say it… Bring back the headphone jack!

It's a double edged sword - love the freedom of cordless but hate that there's another thing to recharge (and can't use it while it's recharging)…

      • This transmitter can be charge while in use.
Got the white one for little over couple of years and still works great.

    • This can be used while charging by plugging the charging cord into the USB charger found on most long haul flights.

This is an awesome price and great product. I used it on my long haul flight and it works a treat, even from the toilet…lol

How was the latency? I got a $19 TEMU version with built in two prong 3.5mm and it sometimes had a touch of latency. Not awful but noticeable.

      • No lip sync issue with this one. I’ve got the white model.

damm missed out, im not paying $70 for this - $14 was a bargain!

https://www.amazon.com.au/RAVIAD-Transmitter-Headphones-Airp… - this looks similar for $14.99 - never heard of either brand so can't comment on quality..

    • Cheap but I think only connects to 1 set of headphones. For on a flight I would guess many might share a tablet to watch a movie for example if not using the in flight entertainment.

      • +1

Two airpods can be connected to an Ipad to watch something together

  • Missed!! Arrrh

  • I purchased this one to connect to a Bauhn TV outside, to stream to a Bose speaker. It wasm lousy. Unsure if it was the TV, the linked device or both.

  • This was posted a month ago or so on clearance for $5 at kmart. Transmits and receives. Stock still around

    • Just doesnt support AptX, so movies might be a little "Bruce Lee"

      • Just got it delivered…It supports SBC, Qualcomm® aptX™, Qualcomm® aptX™ Low Latency
