I received this notification this morning. Good timing if you missed the ShopBack offer yesterday.

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

  • Purchases using Myer Rewards credits for full/partial payment (including, but not limited to) CBA CommBank Award Points, Velocity Points, loyalty programs such as Myer Xmas Club, Myer Black, Myer One, Myer Return, Myer Multi or any Myer credit card points, AMEX Reward Points and all Points + Pay methods at checkout.
  • Purchase of gift cards or use of gift cards for full or partial payment.
  • Purchases made via Myer's mobile app.
  • Purchases using Myer team member/staff discounts.
  • Products from the following brands: CHANEL, Dior, Hermes, Aesop.
  • Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards.
  • Purchases via the merchant's mobile app.
  • Purchase that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
  • GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
  • Fraudulent transactions.
  • Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the Merchant site, including but not limited to employee discounts, student discounts and price-matching.

    Can't complain vs Shopback when the bank bonus for Shopback didn't track..

    Currently waiting the 3 day period but it seems to be abnormal to be waiting for a bank bonus cashback to track.

      I wouldn’t worry. If the shopback component has tracked, the bank bonus is an easy fix as it’s controlled by shopback. Happened multiple times to me, never an issue getting resolved.

    Does anyone know pattern of cashreward & shopback for Myers / David Jones? I keep missing it. Always complete buying everything before the promotion starts. I know i have the option of returned & repurchased but i bought lots of things many times so Just wondering if i can figure out the pattern to save my & the staffs’ time.

    Take extra care with the "Home" category!

    Myer list appliances such as Vacuums and Coffee machines under the "Home" category.

    However - CashRewards state in their terms that ANY electrical appliances will not qualify as "Home".

    The 'Entertainment & Electronics' cashback category includes all electronics & electrical appliances, personal care products, luggage, travel (from anywhere on Myer's website). Books, magazines, food are classified under 'Home' cashback category.

      As I’m reading it correctly, the CR landing page says this - which is the same quote that you quoted in your comment:

      Special terms
      Important:
      Marketplace and Furniture is available for delivery only.
      The 'Entertainment & Electronics' cashback category includes all electronics & electrical appliances, personal care products, luggage, travel (from anywhere on Myer's website). Books, magazines, food are classified under 'Home' cashback category.

      “Important” and “special terms” aren’t the same as “ Cashback is ineligible on the following” and as far as the rate goes, it specifically says 12% cashback, which is the same offer that was yesterday from ShopBack

        Quite right that my comment was not necessary because both Electrical and Home have the same cashback rate for this cashback. I was under the false impression that "Home" would have a higher cashback rate on this deal than other categories, but I was wrong, apologies for that, it's just 12% across the board. I've been caught out in the past, any electrical items that are listed under "Home" on the Myer website are not classified as "Home" by Cashrewards. But in this case, it doesn't matter as the rate is the same.

    Was looking for a samonite suitcase, but seems samsonite website is constantly 40$ off and on cashrewards/shopback its always on 10% cashback anway
