Xbox Kinect vs PS3 Move

  Xbox vs PS3 is a much of a muchness nowadays. Most big titles are released on both, and there are only a few must have exclusives for each.

  PS3 plays blue rays, if you need a player. I much prefer xbox's interface/ menu system/ online integration, though Xbox live does cost if you see online play as something you'll use.

  As far as Move vs Kinect, whilst Move is probably more accurate, there are not many games out for it and it requires multiple controllers. Kinect on the other hand has a myriad of games of varying quality levels, with a few gems that stand out.

  How old are various members of the family? Kinect is a scream with younger kids, but older kids / parents probably will tire of it quickly.

    Thanks for your inputs. My father who is 50 would be the primary user along with my brother. The Sports Champions 2 game catches my eye. I think he would like it. He might find it difficult to adjust the delay which is mentioned in Kinect. He would prefer having the accuracy of Move.

  If you are set on Move or Kinect, Move is often considered to be a inferior, and you are probably much better with a Wii(/Wii U) than a PS3 with Move.

  PS3 vs XBox generally is a different argument entirely, and depends what you want from the system (has been had a few times here before).

  Shouldn't count out the Wii U either if kinect/move type gameplay is what you are after. Just bought one for the girlfriend and its amazing what kind of multiplayer fun you can have with it.
