Nty. Got stitched up last time and couldn't get it rectified through their odd support system.

Do not waste time with everyday Market and shopback deals as they will track it and then quietly without informing you they will decline your claim… obviously I had this experience and provided proof on ozbargain.

Same here! In my case they just set the tracked value to $0. I only released because I took a screenshot.

      • hey mate, how did you send it? the chat bot cannot find my transaction at all

    • I think in this case it's everyday market as the same thing happened with top cashback and cashrewards.

    • same here

    • my didn't track initially, i followed up and its now tracked and confirmed from 23rd November

      • Same but they then automatically cancelled it again…so dodgy !!

    • Thanks for the reminder, I checked mine and luckily it's still tracked and due to be confirmed by 6/2/25. Purchase date 23/11/24

  • I Just want to say, I believe its nothing to do with the platform but more so everyday market place. I have never once had big issues with cashback sites until I started using market place. Across both topcashback and shopback all orders declined, late, marked as $0, followed up to be corrected to only be marked back to $0 again then corrected again more or less. Best way is to reach out through their email address. tigharse is really good and i'd much prefer to use topcashback.

The issue is how dodgy ways shopback manages tracking.

They first send you email saying congratulations your cashback tracked

They then automatically on their system after few weeks make that cashback to zero but don't send you notification so basically so many customers forget about even sending emails requesting reviews as they think cashback will come later on.

I have been accepted then rejected then accepted and then rejected again all for one transaction but they only send email when they accepted which is dodgy.

Yeah agreed. Definitely need to keep track urself

It's so frustrating. You basically need to operate under the assumption that you will scammed, and gather every bit of evidence you can and set timers and reminders.

          Mentally its quite draining.

If it takes you multiple follow-ups to "maybe" get a good result then often its not worth your time time in the first place. Also seems dodgy of shopback that they just change it to zero with no notification at all imo.

  • Got scammed on the switch last time (purchased a PAL Australian model, got opened cheap jap model). Returns process was a nightmare. Customer support aren't the same as WW, they are based overseas and did nothing to help.

  • I am so nervous as I have around $250 with 'tracked' status, however not 'confirmed'. Things are pretty much RRP and only worth it with the 30% cashback. Without it, our hands are tied as too late to return (over 60 days).

I think they finally found a way to 'trick' us.

Placed 3 orders, but all the cashback are declined by Woolworths.

Why have the caps been so low lately? Ever since black friday they've had crap cashbacks and like max $75 cashback. I've been waiting since before Christmas for a good cashback and all 3 cashrewards, shopback and topcashback have been poor.

People are clearly disappointed with not cashback being confirmed - so they’re considerately making it that there’s not much to lose.
Seriously though, agreed.. strange how much tighter limits are lately (current cap is 10% of the last, I kinda hoped was a typo and they missed a zero on $35).

I bought nearly $1000 of Ubiquiti gear last time (uncapped cashback) via Shopback & had no issues getting my $295 cashback. All went smoothly.

shopback is really shady with this where they will amend or decline the amount without telling you. i dont understand why they cant send a notification for that

  • Don't waste money on shopback deals related to everyday rewards…it is dodgy and shopback rep will hide in the woods…!

  • After reading your comments, I checked my 2nd Nov 2024 purchase for everyday market, they have tracked it to zero now and I have no screenshots. Shopback is not worth it guys. They're scammers.

    • look for it in your email, same issue I am having now, got 80 aud of cashback I cannot report because I cannot lodge it as a missing cashback since it is past the lodgment window and when I chat with the bot, it cannot find my transaction!! So frustrating

      • Thanks, found the email, lodged the ticket. Hopefully their shit customer service will resolve this.
But yeah I am done with everyday market purchases now.

  • ~$300 still pending from various purchases. Still tracking for now on Shopback/TopCashback. Every time one of these deals is posted I check it's still there.

  • Good price on the icemaker. These are usually $120, but after cashback become ~$75
    https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/1075570192…

I bought the same model before christmas for $~85. It works really well. I'm using up cheap solar energy, and then using the ice at night to cool down.

    • Problem is that your cashback get rejected and you end-up paying more for the product…!!!

      Be careful with this mob.

  • My cashback was tracked correctly but after few days transaction itself gone missing. Don’t have the screenshot to proof and hence taken the hit.

  • Don't do it. Such a high chance of rejection. Not worth the risk especially as we're all following the Ts and Cs to the letter.

  • Thanks guys, I just realised they quietly decline mine as well.
