These machines are great and make a good coffee but be aware that you have to buy the pods through Nespresso (third parties cannot supply the pods that are compatible with these machines), so they're not exactly cheaper (okay still cheaper than getting a coffee out).
The other types of machines that use the classic style pods are the ones where you can buy pods from supermarkets/third parties and are a LOT cheaper.
Great comment as the aftermarket pods such as Star Bucks and Aldi range etc are much cheaper and still decent
coffee for pods, even cheaper when good Coles/Woolies/IGA specials are on, then stock up a bit.
So you can't use nespresso compatible pods with this machine?
It uses the new style pods not the old ones (which everyone else uses)

the vertuo line was released in 2014…lots of ppl are still running the OG nespresso pod machines and arent looking at upgrading…
nespresso cant give up all the $$$ with the OG users… they will continue to sell both styles til the end of time
