Weber Baby Q - Is This Normal?

Hi all, finally got to pick up my Baby Q from TGG deal from the other week.

When I opened it today, the inside looked like these pics - just wondering if this is how they normally look inside?

Thanks so much

Go into the store and look inside the others they have on display…

if you google it, you'll see similar images even from official stores

It's probably just how they spray them and don't bother to spray inside, probably because it gets so hot.

Yes that's normal. What will happen after a few times is that it goes black. Stop worrying and start bqqing.

  • That's beautiful. That's pretty normal, it won't last long though… They get black after use.

Yep, don't worry. In a few hours of usage, it'll look like black crap on the inside!

  • Yes, this is quite normal.

If I knew how to post a pic I would show you mine. Caked in fat & grime. The best was when we left it 4 months and a possum had stored food in it.:-)
