Churning Back to Optus Flybuys and nbn

Hi, I took up the Optus NBN Flybuys offer last year and then cancelled in October (after receiving the points).

I am thinking of moving back to Optus NBN and take advantage of the current Flybuys deal.

Has anyone been denied the points when churning back to Optus?

The quality and speed was better than expected.

  • Just for flybuys ? That can't be right 😱

    • $200 worth of flybuys after 3 months - a good deal

      • I can't go with Optus.

It would make me feel dirty…

        • The quality of the NBN was really good. Same price as Superloop.

My speed with Superloop was around 930Mbps and Optus around 800Mbps.

930 or 800 would not be noticeable for most people, including myself.

              @Gervais fanboy: I realise that…

The ping with superloop was 2 and with optus it was 3-4.

Customer service, they tried for 15 minutes to get me to signup for other services but in the end I told the guy, I have to go, please escalate the cancellation and he did.

I was aware of Optus poor customer service but my 3 months with them was a positive surprise.

Would I signup with Optus if they did not offer the flybuys points? Not really :-)

  • Try double dipping with TopCashback

  • have done this before. worked.

    • What was the time period between cancelling and signing up again with points offer?

switched to another for a month.

  • Can you turn off CGNat with optus though?
