    Even 2 pce rods i got honey dicked, said it was 2 parts and i thought perfect it can fit in the car but then when it arrived it was like 30cm butt that you can take off but the rod is still like 195cm

    what do you want to fish for? lure or bait fishing?

    If it's very light lure fishing out of a kayak or small tinny that you are after, then this combo is decent:

    These guys had a slightly heavier, next size up Atomic rod and 2500 nasci combo for the same price but I couldn't find it on the site, maybe give them a call as it was really hard to beat the value.

    But if you want a good rod that can be used for lure and bait that doesn't break the bank then look at the Atomic AAS-270l or AAS-270ml and a 2500/c3000 sized reel spooled with pe1 sized braid.

    I started off with a cheap BCF rod/reel combo that had next to no feel, bad choice. IMO it's better to piece half decent gear individually over time when there are sales rather than buying a boxed combo. The BCF combo that cost me $200 lasted me 3 months before the rod guides corroded, then lost the guides and reel started to fail in that time, while the Atomic 270ml rod, Nasci c3000 reel and Majorcraft x8 pe1 20lbs braid that cost $50 more at the time has already lasted 4 years with regular use and looks like it could be a few weeks old.
