Fortnite Crew Pass Chapter 6

Hey everyone, for those who know I’m hoping you can inform me

I purchased the Crew Pass for Fortnite at the start of Chapter 6 S1 at the cost of $17.95 which gave me access to the main Battlepass, OG Pass, Lego Pass & Festival Pass.

I turned off auto renew and it has since expired. I knew I would lose access to OG, Lego & Festival Pass but I have also lost my main access to the Battle Pass. I can no longer unlock the main items or Godzilla when it arrives. It tells me to buy the Battle Pass at 1000 Vbucks

This never use to be like this and is it meant to be like it now?

  Sorry to tell you but they changed the subscription terms. If you stop the Crew pass, it stops all.

  For new subscribers beginning December 1, 2024, at 5 AM GMT/UTC, premium rewards on the Battle Pass will only be available to claim if your Fortnite Crew subscription is active. This means if you cancel Crew, you'll be able to claim premium rewards from the Battle Pass until the end of your current billing period and not for the remaining duration of the pass.

        Rubbish how you pay this money and get ripped now

        A billion dollar company doesn’t need to do this, I know the game is free but it never use to be like this

    Never paid for fn so not sure how this works. Does paying for the Crew Pass instantly unlock everything, and do you keep the unlocked items permanently? And just miss out on newer things that come along after you stop paying?

  Sounds lame to pay and feel screwed. But gotta say, I find their free model pretty generous with Battle Passes. My take is that if you play anyway, you get all the stuff for free.

  Basically, if you are a regular player it's not too hard to max out the Battle Pass each chapter/season. And they return ~1000 vbucks, which pays for itself.
  The best part is that you can activate the pass anytime before the chapter/season ends and get everything up to your level. So I usually wait until the last few days, check what level I'm at, and if it's high I get the pass.

  That gives an instant payout of all items, returns the vbucks I spent, and means I just play the game as much as I want without actively trying to grind levels.
  It just so happens that I play it too much without trying :(
