  • Supports WiFi 6?

      No, AC is 5

      • Probably fast enough for average wifi users?

        • Yes it is fast enough.

        • I can move around 100Mbps to my pc over AC with pretty average gear.

  • Could I plug this into my TP Link Mesh setup and just share 2.4ghz channel from this?
Have some old 2.4ghz devices that are very picky and don't like the dual band, and the Mesh setup is notoriously average at 2.4ghz…

So long as it's setup with a different network name, should just be a LAN to LAN cable been the two and it will route out to the internet. I do this with a crappy tenda solely for the 2.4g channel for Alexa/Google control.

      • Thanks, yeah that's it don't mind different name. It's garage remotes, gate remote, air fryer and pool heater all only want 2.4ghz and all are temperamental on the Mesh setup. Even tried Guest network with only 2.4ghz from the mesh but that still sucks too

        • Then that's not mesh. That's just an Access Point, where you need to set the channel to a non-conflicting channel and you need to not have the same name.

    • Yeah, likely has an AP mode.

  • Does this comes with adblocker which asus has announced
