I received the game. there was no booklet with the disk. think it is weird. anyone can confirm?

They've been slimming down on manuals lately, I think it started with EA. Just recently games have been coming with nothing at all. It happened with Forza Horizon and plenty of Vita games too.
For someone working in games retail, it can be frustrating because lots of people come back to return games thinking that the manual was left out. If it ever happens and you're not sure it's always easy to just call up a local games store and ask.
Yeah it's definitely the trend. Though normally a game with have some semblance of a manual. Halo 4 is one of the very few that doesn't seem to have one at all. E.g. Assassin's Creed III has a two page manual: One page for basic controls and directions to the "In-Game Manual" and a second page for tech support. That's it.
I used to love looking through the manuals as a kid. The Ocarina of Time one for N64 is my favourite. 42 pages, full colour, hand drawn artwork. However, I rarely look through them now so it's not a big loss for me.
That's now called the $150 "Collectors Edition" haha
