I'm not giving myself much budget with a 55" but see a few sales at the moment on TCL, Hisense etc but getting confused by all the specifications.
What's everyone's opinion on the best 55" TV under $700 at the moment. Only using for movies and TV shows - no gaming etc.
Ffalcon seems to review the best for the budget brands
I got a 55 inch ffalcon from Gumtree 2 years ago for $20 because it supposedly didn't connect to wifi. Brought it home and I've hooked it up to my wifi without any problems, and I have been using it as my main TV ever since.
I'm waiting for the next deal under $400 to get another one.
Even if it didn't connect, a bargain that you could just plug a chromecast or something in to.
I got the old chromecast 4k it is worth upgrading to the newer chromecast streamer?
I've still got the gen2 Chromecast, it works fine and the picture is still good despite not being 4k. I use it instead of the ffalcon ui as it is easier.
I got a FFalcon 55 for my Security Camera System in my Home Office. Was on special for $399 at the time. Runs Android (not that I use it) and very happy with the picture quality.
