Directly from BAMBU (https://au.store.bambulab.com/products/p1s) at $1249.00 + $50 delivery (for me). This is slightly cheaper than Amazon, but with Amazon, you get 1.5 kg of free PLA filament. Depending on any vouchers or cashback deals you have, or if you value Amazon's hassle-free returns, Amazon might still be worth considering.

To get the deal on Amazon, add the printer and the filament (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CNXNS48V?m=A30EMPSDWDZXHI) to your cart, and the filament will be free at checkout.

Also any recommendations for a budget to mid range 3d printer?

Bambu Labs A1 (with AMS, preferably) is the easy winner for budget/mid-range

If you’re just doing pla or petg, a1 is perfect

      • +1

Yeah, I figure the budget/midrange crew are gonna be happy with PLA/PETG/TPU for a long time. Then when the new and more awesome Bambu Labs printer comes out, step up to that :-)

    • A1 or A1 mini you reckon?

      • +3

Depends on the print bed size you want, if you're fine with smaller prints the A1 Mini is great

        • +1

Very true. I, however for example, regret getting a Prusa mini only because I keep ending up wanting to print larger models - especially stuff you find on Printables or Thingiverse

          • @ASA: IANA3dPrinter … But I understand programs like Cura can be used to split up larger STL's into smaller pieces that fit your bed.

And some can do the split and also create peg and hole or other surfaces to facilitate joining the prints back together.

      • Both

        Source: I have both

Mainly use a1 mini as most prints are smaller and I feel it’s quieter

The filament appears to be OOS.

  • Their filament is more acceable in their main AU website. but sunlu at ebay and if you are at sydney Siddament also a great option.
