  • Can anyone share experiences with playing this with there partner? lets say, it takes two almost caused a divorce, so is it easier or harder? (I'll leave my desired outcome as a separate topic).

    • played the 2nd one with my partner, its not too hard but some bosses do suck

    • Cat Quest 2 & 3 are two of the few games that don’t end in a night of no speakies, as long as you make resurrecting your partner a priority rather than fighting on alone.

It's fairly easy - I completed it with my 9 year old daughter. Certainly easier than it takes two.

This comment is more for those reading this who haven't played them.
Cat quest 2 was a big dodge fest. Roll away, roll in, hit, repeat. I ended up power leveling using a glitch so it was easier to play through with my (at the time) 6yo.

It takes two is a masterpiece. Played through with my best friend. The hardest bosses and timed jumping parts were in the first few levels. Game got a lot easier after that. Played through bulk with my 9yo. But as it's all unlocked, we could skip anything too hard/boring.

Never play portal 2 coop with a partner & I've heard Super Mario Bros is similar.
