Very good in so that I've gone to see it twice and looking at a third time before they leave.
Very different to other musicals I've heard, idk It was my first one so if anything, I don't know if I can get into other musicals. I guess it's just all the rap that makes it different, but it sure is catchy.
I mean you can cheat and just listen to the entire thing on Spotify to see if you want to watch, or just watch it on Disney

I think it's a great musical for people who don't "like" musicals (because it doesn't have the usual musical pazazz or campness to it). It's done in a "Broadway-show" rap style. The set and dancing is raw, minimal, and basic. But I found it to be fun (though I knew what I was getting in for). Would highly recommend checking out the clips on youtube before going. The main song is "Alexander Hamilton" on youtube should give you an idea of what you're in for if you don't want major spoilers, as they filmed the original Broadway cast for Disney+.
I went 4x. I wouldn't spend big money on it - each time I won the $10 lottery. I do think this is a good deal if you can get decent seats. It's the one musical where I think closer seating to the front, is better.

I enjoyed this show. But I couldn’t really understand what everyone was saying. The whole thing is sung in rap IIRC.
Yeah you should watch it on Disney + with the subtitles then go see it live. Makes it a lot more clear lol
