I got a pair of Mizuno Wave Riders for $99.95 plus $9.95 shipping. Pretty good for a shoe normally over $200.

When I'm buying shoes I know I'm a Euro 41. I just match it up on the size charge. Never gone wrong. The US sizes go up and down but the Euro size is more consistent
He has wide feet, so it's always a hit and miss
My daughter has wide feet, tried on a pair of Wave Riders today and complained they felt narrow compared to Asics. Brooks are probably going to be a safer bet for your kid.
@liam2040: My wife does the same. She needs the wide D variant of mizunos. If you can find those on sale they might be good. Got her the wave inspire and she said they’re the best shoe she ever owned.
I ordered Monday afternoon. It says shipping in 2-4 business days. It's Friday and the item has still not been shipped

What's their return policy if size doesn't fit? Looking for buy a shoe for kid. But their physical store is only in WA, and model I wanted is not available in any other retailer
