Been lurking on ozb for a while for a robot vacuum cleaner. This seems to be the OzBargain fave for vacuums in this price range and comments on prev posts have a few people that have purchased for family/another storey so thought I would pull the trigger and give it a shot.

This seems to be the target price for it (ignoring crazy outliers which i don't think we can expect again?)

Absolute BS - this thing punches well above its weight for the price.

Having said that, $200 isn't that good of a deal.

    • +2

Using it every week, $199 seems everyday price now from their listing.

      absolute junk

Want to ask this question again, did you own it? If not, you don't need to post just ignore it.

Too many ozbargainers did that with something they never tried.

i owned one for 3 months till I threw it out

        here's my review you haters

You got it free and you complained, may be you got one with battery issue mine is fine, although battery not really great.

          • @superforever: Mine does 30m2 in 29 mins with 71% battery left.
Very happy for the price I got it at ($80 after cashback).
I upgraded the dust bin to the bin only (no mop) but it’s much larger, rather than go for the station (with the disposable bags).

            • @internet-stranger:

              Hard floor or carpet?

I have to charge it after finished upstairs (carpet 4 bedrooms), like around 25% left.

            • @internet-stranger: Is the dustbin upgrade compatible with the empty station?

              • @LeifAlbor: I believe so? But it’s massive. I went from 1 run to 3-4 runs between empties.

              • @LeifAlbor: No, the larger dustbin removes the part that allows the dustbin to be emptied via the docking station.

          • @superforever: Obviously he’s not a true OzBargainer as they would have sold the free item for a quick buck LOL

          Such a silly review

          1. Your battery is probably faulty
          2. Yes the battery is smaller then others but this is easily worked around with either scheduling, it handling it automatically or just you manually selecting rooms when you need it.
          3. No idea about the suction, it used to be 4000Pa so either you have an old model like mine or they changed how they measured it which would be fair to criticise it if true.

I got the 5000+Pa variant almost 6 months ago and it's been great. I run it 5-6 times per week and it has (almost) enough charge to cover nearly 120sqm area. It also only takes a few hours to charge from empty.

If you combine it with the 40% cashback (shop back all users uncaped), it's cheaper still ~$112.

  • So is it any good?

    • -1

Its as good as other vacuums under $500

    • Yes
Doesn’t get lost or stuck like others we’ve had

    • +1

for the price it's great for the vacuum function

    • I love mine! Grab one with the self empty dock from Temu with the 40% cashback and you're laughing

      • Good idea! Could you link me to the one with the self empty dock? Thank you!

  • +1

Well it seems Temu share links are no good. Just find the Lubluelu store and it's on there

    • Thanks!

  • anyone with this machine able to answer this

i set up a timer (so it runs certain days, at certain times) and for some reason i cannot find how to get rid of it? I've set a new one (under Settings —> Timer) and I can see that one, but i cannot stop the original one from running

Is my only option to factory reset it??

    • +1

If you don't see it in "Timer" it might be programmed in the vaccum but not showing up in the app so yes, probably a factory reset.

  • How do I know what carpet/rug height it can climb?

    • On the Temu website, in the product details images it shows 8mm

      • Yeah, it can climb into my downstairs bathroom (hard floor to hard floor), but not upstairs from carpet to bathroom hard floor)

  • fairly happy with mine even though it constantly goes offline, requiring me to manually restart it to connect it to wi-fi. anyone have the same issue?

    • restart it to connect it to wi-fi. anyone have the same issue?

No problem here, may be your WiFi 2.4 channel issue.

Happened a few times, couldn't load the map, have to power it off and on. Also once, even the map loaded correctly but it didn't clean correctly with the map, have to power off and on again.

    • I've had that issue a few times, it's a tad annoying but it does seem like manually rebooting it helps to bring it back online.

  • I'm pretty disappointed with mine, owned it more than 6 months. Doesn't clean as well or pick up as much as my previous cheapo Deebot. Doesn't crash into stuff as much though.

It's not a bad device, but I wouldn't buy it again.

  • I have two that get run almost everyday and I'm very happy with both units. The app is great and it's easy to configure and edit maps. Works great on hard floors and reasonable on carpet. Collects a lot of dust off carpets, but nothing really competes with a handheld.

  • Great device for the $80 I got it at, but $200 seems like an average price, not a bargain… 3Camels is just inflated.

  • I returned mine (bought from Temu) after a week or two of struggling. The main paint point for me is that the wifi loses its connection every few minutes, I use a Unifi, and have a dedicated 2.4ghz IoT SSID, none of my other IoT devices have any issues, but the Lubluelu constantly (and I mean, every minute or two) disconnects and reconnects itself, jumping between my two APs.

Also, maybe related to the WIFI issue, the map refuses to save. And in certain spots in the house, it thinks it's tangled even though it isn't. When trying it on a different floor (moved the base to the same floor), it finishes the vacuuming without returning to the base.

YMMV, if it works then it's a decent unit given its price, unfortunately it didn't work for me.

    • Unifi here with no issues on my dedicated 2.4ghz SSID.

No issues with the map besides occasionally it calibrating wonky and I have to restore the previously saved map.

  • I’ve owned it for 6 months and bought it off eBay. Unfortunately it stopped charging and the pins were scratched from parking into the auto dispenser.

Messaged the store on eBay and they claimed it was because liquid had gotten into the motherboard.

Got a replacement a few days ago and am not using the “mop” function in case liquid gets into it again. We’ll see how we go I guess…

  • How do these compare to lets say 7-10 year old roombas? (I have 3… 2 from the 600 series, 1 from the 800 series).

    • LIDAR mapping is substantially better than drunken toddler bumping the old style roombas used

  • +1

I've owned two of these (one for each floor) since Nov 2023. They're fantastic for the money. Liked mine so much I've bought them as gifts for my parents, and a couple of friends. Zero complaints from any of them.

They do occasionally lose or corrupt the map. Just make sure you store a good version of the map in the app. If you notice it doing weird things like cleaning in diagonal lines in a room, just restore the saved map. Takes 10 secs.

  • Absolutely no problems with mine, one of my favourite devices. This thing cleans well, maps the house accurately, I can tell it which rooms to vacuum from the app and handles carpet and tiles well. My map has never been corrupted even when switching between Android and iOS, but I have 'saved' the map in case.

I've since bought the auto-empty station and a few spare bags from AliExpress/Temu, so I don't have to constantly empty the robot. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat if I needed another, even at this price.

  • Get it on a Temu cashback deal, cheaper

  • I own one of them incl auto empty station for a couple of month now, which was bought to vac the first floor. Currently I'm sorting out an issue with manufacturer as the unit is not successfully autodocking.
For the price point and what I am using it for (carpet only) I can't fault it, assuming the autodocking will work eventually.

I also used it downstairs over the weekend, where up until now I used an old Roborock S5 and the obstacle avoidance in particular around chairs is not as good as the Roborock one.

  • Anyone facing the roller brush is tangled error? I cant seem to get a decent run without having to manually running the thing atleast 25 times cause its keep stopping with that error. And ofcourse there is very little hair stuck on the roller.

  • I own the L20 and it's now going all over the place. Only a few months old

    • I own the L20 and it's now going all over the place.

You mean didn't follow the map? Just power it off completely.

  • I've owned this for a little bit now and have the auto empty station as well. It's been the best buy I've had in years.

One gripe I have is that every rare few weeks for about an hour, it'll play up trying to constantly dock to the station despite already having docked and started charging. I just let it have it's fun and ignore it, self-rectifies.

I live in a 3 bedroom house, with two large lounge rooms. Bedrooms have low-pile carpet and I have two medium-pile area rugs in the lounge rooms. After an entire house vacuum on a single charge, I believe ~15% battery is left over. I leave the suction on eco, which has been fine. Loving the mop option to do the kitchen and bathroom more regularly - included 2 washable/reusable mop pads.

If you're looking for a great, cheap time saver/first robo vac, you'd be remiss to try this out. Def get it off Temu though - keep bothering the auto-chat bot to renew a voucher and eventually it'll give you a 20% off no minimum spend.

  • With extra 5% off at the moment.
