If you're going to be a tightarse buying a pressure washer you may as well get an ozito with 3 year warranty that you can replace the same day at Bunnings when it breaks.

  • I suspect a garden hose with a decent nozzle will be better than this.

There's a simple test for people considering cheap washers -Does your normal garden hose 'snake' with a jet nozzle if you drop it?
If so, you're not going to see a big difference - you have high water pressure.

Don't let the PSI ratings fool you.
A washers performance is a formula between pressure applied, and how much water its applied to.
Most people who are 'into' pressure washing, will say 11L/m is the absolute minimum (I'm a bit of a pressure washer fan :P)
But I'm also a 'car guy' and have used many friends cheap washers, and can attest that 7L/m is borderline, but usable, and 9L/m is 'pretty good'.

As such; gift yourself the extra $35 on a decent tool, and get this:

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-1800w-2030psi-high-pressur…

Aluminium pump (most cheapies are plastic), 3 year warranty (triple the posted one), 7L/m, higher pressure, and unless you're super remote - local pickup and warranty.

    • Great piece of kit this. Got it when $79. They own Gerni too for Oz. Can't beat the 3 year no questions asked replacement warranty.

I would strongly advise against purchasing any cheap pressure washer, especially ones online. Many of their specs regarding pressure and L/min are exaggerated and are unlikely to withstand regular use. As previously mentioned, if you’re on a budget and don’t want to invest in brands like Gerni, Karcher, or Ryobi, Ozito is likely the best option. At least with Ozito pressure washers you can return them to Bunnings easier than Kogan.

If you want a cheap washer at least Ozito has a 3 year warranty and you can return it to Bunnings with no questions asked. Kogan stuff can be a nightmare if anything goes wrong or if you need to do a return. From past experience I would never buy anything from Kogan.

    • My experience has been the exact opposite. When I've purchased a faulty product they have always sent me a new one and I haven't had to send the faulty product back.

      • Lucky. I had a couch snap in half first week, and they told me my family overloaded it.
There was 1 person on it…. under 100kgs…. No luck getting anything back.

When tearing it down, it was made of literal scrap pine.
