Setting up a Karaoke System to The TV

I'm thinking of setting up a karaoke system at home but looks like they are super expensive.

Can anyone please suggest me a way to use my TV… and apart from buying Mics, what else needs?

Thank you!!

Why? Your neighbours probably will hate you.

Consider getting a pinball machine, they are heaps of fun.

Software/Library unit to connect to your TV. I know the one at Flemington Racecourse was a hire unit which was basic. You could hook up your own audio and TV to it. I looked into it a bit more at the time, but cannot remember much now. I think it might've been tablet based.

This will generate the next thread. The snake must keep generating a tail, so it can keep eating it.

    • Trapped in a 1990's time-warp and want to sing themselves out of it, one tacky excruciating audio torture at a time?

Get yourself a cheap computer, and some Singstar microphones.
Then look at https://www.open-music-games.org/help/frequently-asked-quest… and go from there.

  • Aliexpress has cheap wireless microphones. Connect to a half decent logitech 2.1 computer set up (or get a cheap micro hi-fi set up off marketplace).

Do you have a smart tv or firestick? Download a karaoke app .

Wireless mics from Ali (FIFINE is a good and cheap brand)
Optical to AUX converter (for connecting TV to wireless mics)
Connect mics to cheap soundbar / speakers
    Youtube app on TV
    Profit
