I'll be in line later tonight wearing my $4 Kmart sandals

  • Here is their allergens guide.

    https://www.yomg.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/YOMG-ALLE…

They seem to have a lot…

    • At least they have an allergens menu unlike Royal Stacks down the road. They told us no egg or peanut was in their burgers but 4hrs later I'm at the hospital emergency department with a very sick child suffering from an anaphylaxis allergy

      • 😲

Did you report it to the local council.

Their health officer will follow up and audit the business.
They have the power to close the business down until they are safe.

        • I wasn't sure who to report it to but will keep that in mind for the future.
Grill'd wasn't much better either, stuffed up an order and added mayonnaise and decided to be lazy and scraped off the mayo instead of making a new burger.

Fortunately most restaurants are pretty good in Australia

      • They told us no egg or peanut was in their burgers

Egg could have been in either the bun or the meat patty.

They are required to know and disclose when asked.

It is a requirement for FSANZ and the councils are usually very quick to follow up…

  • Love their curly fries. Been missing them ever since our local YOMG got closed a few years ago.

    • Why did they close?

  • The burger game in that neck of the woods seems pretty competitive: https://www.9news.com.au/national/arsonist-sets-self-on-fire…
