We have a 5L model from a deal years ago (for this same price, if I remember it correctly). No smell. Still going strong. The non-stick coating is gone 🤢 but that was easily resolved with stainless steel mesh baskets from AliEx (avoiding contact with PTFE altogether).

Got one last deal. I’d avoid. Feels cheap, gives off a chemical smell and makes food taste gross even after several uses.
We got it to use in combination with our Philips one. But it just sits in the cupboard.
