Thanks for linking the review, really enjoyed it.

Having played the game on ps4 and the steam deck, I’m genuinely surprised how good the port is on switch.

stuck on Mission 14…. for a couple of days like 6 months ago and decided to park the game. Got back in yesterday… and still stuck LOL such a noob.

    • The one at night that starts off with a canyon run, then bombing run on the airbase once you get through?

Which part is causing you to get stuck?

      • avoiding them lights and turning tights between waypoint 3 and 4… either crash into the cliff walls for caught out by the lights. have tried probably 50 times now…. just did another 10 runs or so…. giving up. :(

might spend the money and buy a better plane to try. might have better controls / turning

Planes with better controls/turning can definitely help. Especially as some will let you use high-G turn (hold accelerate and brake) with less of a penalty.

Another thing that could potentially help is to plan out your flight path to optimise your turns. I don't know the correct term for the flight version of it, but you can broadly apply the same concept as the racing line, just in 3D.

        • I would also add, try to go slower as it gives you more time to react and dont be afraid to head low into the canyon

Back-compat for the Switch 2 is basically a given seeing how many consoles sold of the Switch. However, this port confirmed it for me and my headcanon. Phenomenal game and port!

Aparrentlty the port took over a year

  • fun game

    • Really, I thought it was boring as hell

PS store has the Marverick ultimate edition on sales $28.79 too

  • This was damn good on the PSVR.

Couldn't play for too long however, I got fatigue after a couple of levels.

Wondering if the Switch 2 will have some VR capabilities that would make this worth doubling up on.

  • I remembered it was excellent on Xbox one, but what makes it better on the switch? Genuine question, before I buy it for a second time

  • Not a comment on the game's quality, but how is RRP $89 for a port of an old gen game? I've bought Switch ports before and generally paid ~$50-60.

  • Coming up as $89 for me now
