Highly rated, metal oriented, and developed by Double Fine (headed by ex-LucasaArts dev) Wasn't a huge seller back in the day so might be a few of you who haven't played it. Worth picking up for under a fiver if you don't have Game Pass (which this is on). Has appearances by Jack Black, Ozzy Ozbourne, Rob Halford, Lemmy of Motor head, Lita Ford and Kyle Gas🤘

  Great game, it didn't run very well on series s when i tried recently on gamepass… lots of stutter and slow down. Wonder if series x any different?

    I'll be playing it on a 360 so won't have an issue, but part of what swayed me to get the digital version is that if I get a Series S I can still play it

      I thought they shutdown the ability to install new games onto 360?

        You can always install your games, you just couldn't buy new ones that were 360 only, because this runs on later ones you should still be able to add it to your library and it should show up. The impetus to buy games a few months ago was because there were titles that would disappear as they aren't available on new xboxes

    Bit janky on Series X too. Have had nothing but great experiences with BC games other than this. Played on PS3 in the day so I have no idea how it ran on 360.

    Wasn't a bad experience by any stretch but there was the odd noticable stutter and whatnot that isn't really present in any other back compat games (for me anyway)

  I feel like Xbox is going away, I personally wouldn't invest in a collection of Xbox games going forward.

    Maybe it is. But the good news is, if they keep pivoting toward "everything is an Xbox" then I'm about to have hundreds of games available everywhere when that's all said and done, so it's kinda cool with me tbh

  When i closed down my ebay shop i had so many copies of this i couldnt even give them away! Didnt realise ahat kind of game until i read this post though, looks fun!

    Yeah it's pretty cheap to find it in physical copy, but until MS let's you verify a physical copy of the game it's no good for a series s player. On the other hand it has its advantages also. Still more expensive tho, if you are happy to play on steam it's about 5.60 for a key

  The worst part of this is Jack Black. His over the top nature just never really clicks at anything imho. Maybe the strategy areas too. But overall it was decent back in the day.

    Jack Black is well cast in this, I don't know who else has the cred to pull it off really. School of Rock is in rotation around here
