Bridge Road Advent Calendar (24 Beer) $50 (Member's Price) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Dan Murphy's

340

Dan Murphy's are selling Bridge Road Advent Calendars for $50 (free membership required).

Lot's of pale ales, a few lagers, IPAs and sours. Plenty of standard fridge filler beers (Bridge Road standards, Mountain Culture Status Quo, Benstpoke Barley Griffin etc) but you have a few nice collabs with breweries like Range, Found, Grifter. Beers brewed in August 24 so not particularly fresh but all the cans I've had so far have tasted fine.

There's stock around Brisbane, not sure about other states and areas but a solid buy for the asking price!

  • Dang it the closest with stock is 20km away…. Maybe not worth it

    • 33km away and only 1 available

  • geart review on the site.

Lol the review's are hyperbolic. I can understand being let down if you paid $130. Worth noting most reviews are from 2023 and older.

Every time I try to pay I get a declined by bank message - tried multiple cards and a few stores showing 'in stock'

    Any ideas?

    • Try using the app

    • I had the same issue, turned out I had something else in my cart from previously (which was no longer in stock) so that was messing it up.

    Bridge Road is goooooooood!

  • Nothing in TAS. Shame, would've been a good buy.

    • Actually bugger-all around Bris, from what I can see (1-2hr ago). Not sure I would have pulled the trigger on "1 bottle available at …".

  • Nothing within 50km of 2261

On a side note, anyone had the ‘fresh four’ packs? Only $10

    • +1

I just grabbed one to try! Thanks for pointing these out!

    • OK, I've looked everywhere - what/where is this fresh four pack?

There is also a few other things on sale, there is a 6 pack version of the above for $20, a World Beer 10 pack for $19 (things like Fosters, Sol, etc)

        • Thank you - with store set in regional NSW, none of them came up in search. Direct link worked, but still not available for delivery! :(

  • Got one. Thank you good sir/lady!

  • Any spoiler lists?

    • I contemplated typing one out but seemed a bit too much effort lol.

Happy to answer any questions though!

      • I guess the big one is what Range brew is in there?

        • There's a Range/Bridge Road Cali IPA collab. It was alright, not one of Range's best but I'm thinking I'm just not that into Cali IPAs because most I've tried have been a bit of a let down.

The biggest surprise so far was Grifter/Bridge Road west coast pilsner which was damn good. Exceeded my expectations for sure.

There's also a can of standard Range Sunshine XPA. About half the pack is just normal stuff you would find pretty commonly available.

          • @Poimandres: 2 cases acquired, besides the ginger beer everything in there looks to be worth $2 a can.

Received this as a gift and was very underwhelmed.

Contained some great beers, but some that were poured down the drain. Gingerbread Sour? Really? Give me a break. Just because you CAN brew something doesn't mean you should.

As usual, Fat Man Red Suit Big Sack is the standout.
