My Vacuum Died - Now Looking for The Miele C3 Cat & Dog Vacuum

Hey crew, it is a horrible time that my vacuum just died.
I've been eyeballing the Miele C3 Cat & Dog vacuum because it is recommended on the 'buyforlife' reddit sub.
Any ideas on ways to find this vacuum cheaper now after the Black Friday and Boxing Day deals are finished?

    I've just installed a new $30 battery for my robot vaccum and am glad I didn't buy a new one. It will hopefully last another 5 years.

      Great Ozbargain ingenuity,. Check it every 3 to 4 months to ensure it is still oblong and not elliptic.

        Did the same with a previous robot, but had to replace the motor instead. $20 for another two years of service, although that first robot was those first stupid units doing random cleaning routes.

        This one is going pretty good. I guess we will see…

    How did it die? Just no motor?

    If so then could be the carbon brushes of the motor. Replacements can be sourced from aliexpress for ~$15

      I can hear the motor going and it sound low powered, and low to no suction.

    Are you in a city with a Miele Outlet? You could give them a call to see if they have any on-hand.

      When I called mine he laughed when I asked if they would price match amazon and said he couldn't even come close. Wait for a sale

    I have a Miele C3 Cat & Dog and it craps all over our previous Dyson Animal. I bought mine from TGG and they didn't exactly price match Amazon which was cheaper, but they did give me a bit of a discount. I went into the shop, knew what I want and then haggled from there. I think they even threw in a free box of bags.

    Don't know how long I have had it now (would be a couple of years) and it has done an amazing job. I have two dogs and a cat along with two kids on tiles + carpet. Very happy. We notice the difference on our darker carpet the most.
