Some people prefer to spend for what they really need. I bought it as I just needed a small PC to hook it to my TV, hence, this was more than enough for my need. I can spend additional $239 on something else that I need.

whats the cheapest Mini PC that can play DotA on max settings? Thats all I need. I'm super happy with my mac laptop but I miss DotA and that plays pretty crap on a Mac
Check benchmarks for GPUs. I'd guess something around a basic dedicated GPU, or maybe some of the new high end integrated GPUs maybe?

I have an M1 and it runs pretty crap on medium settings the last time I tried played about 3 years ago. Pretty sure I saw a video on YouTube that showed it was not running too well on max settings even on an M4 mini

I would be going for an AMD CPU if you are looking to game with these mini PCs. Far better integrated GPU. Also, make sure you have two memory sticks installed. Mine came with a single 16gb stick, adding a second one improved 3D performance significantly.
How much of an improvement does AMD cpu's have over intel ones for gaming? Is it that big?
THe integrated High end AMD IGPU match it with the entry level Nvidia GPUs like 3050 etc
Intel GPU's integrated graphics are no where near that
